That’s why Bowerbirdy Academy offer mental health and wellbeing courses aimed at pupils – as well as teachers – to maintain and improve mental health, and help prepare young people for their future.

In these courses, students will learn about wellbeing apps, meditation and other techniques that can help reduce stress and anxiety, increase focus, and promote overall health and happiness. They will also learn about the importance of self-care, healthy habits, and positive thinking.

Our interactive first aid training teaches young people the basic principles of first aid, giving them the tools they need to potentially save a life in an emergency. In a school setting, accidents and emergencies can happen at any time, and it’s essential that students are prepared to respond appropriately. 

Courses include instruction on CPR, first aid, and the use of a defibrillator, as well as how to recognise and respond to common medical emergencies such as asthma attacks, seizures, and allergic reactions.

Using interactive teaching methods, such as hands-on demonstrations, role-playing, and group exercises, children can learn about first aid in a fun and engaging way. These techniques not only help students remember the information better, but also build their confidence in their ability to respond to an emergency.
